This article describes key issues which have to be addressed apply Computational Fluid Dynamics Naval Hydrodynamics. The specific aspects of Hydrodynamics are discussed and illustrated by recent simulations comparisons with available experiments. Free-surface flows or without waves even violent phenomena such as ventilation cavitation can modelled mixture-fluid surface capturing. Turbulence modelling thick boundary layers vortical requires anisotropic RANS models hybrid RANS/LES in case strongly separated flows.
